Researchers Bhaskaran Gopalakrishnan and Ashish Nimbarte conduct research in the areas of industrial and buildings energy efficiency, waste reduction, water use reduction, productivity improvement, energy management, energy and sustainability benchmarking and pollution prevention. The research work is conducted on-site at industrial and service facilities as well as commercial and government buildings. The effort is currently sponsored by the United States Department of Energy, United States Environmental Protection Agency, United States Department of Agriculture and West Virginia Office of Energy.
