Antimicrobial Resistance Spread and Threads

Biosensors play an increasingly significant role in public health for early disease diagnostics, environmental monitoring, toxicology testing and food safety analysis. Because of their unique physical and chemical properties, nanomaterials have been integrated in developing biosensors with improved analytical performance to simplify the detection process. Such nanomaterials integration has been shown to significantly reduce costs, allow for rapid and multiplex detections, data collection and analysis, display and transmission, as well as ease of operation by a layperson.
