The Reedsville Proving Grounds is a 6-acre range used for projectile launching and testing. Projectiles are launched using the Pneumatic Actuated Universal Launch Apparatus (PAULA), which uses a push-rod system to launch projectiles of varying geometry with a muzzle energy of approximately 4.5 kJ. The Reedsville Proving Ground can be outfitted with up to seventy cameras (VICON Vantage V5 Motion Capture) plus six high-speed cameras for accurate time-dependent motion capture.
